How to Find Top Selling Products?

The following list of top selling list is full of products that you might not have ever guessed were in the top 25 selling products for the month of November. It’s usually really hard to find products with specific criteria which is why I used Helium 10’s product research tool Blackbox to find these products. Blackbox has a database of billions of products and it allows you to filter products in any of our available Amazon markets. In this case, I filtered for monthly revenue and looked for products with a minimum of 10 million dollars in sales per month and then sorted to find the highest selling products. Here is step by step how I did this in Helium 10’s Blackbox:

Step 1: Go to Helium 10’s Black Box and click on the Products Tab

Step 2: Choose all of the categories that you want to look at. In this example, I chose all of the examples except digital media, CDs and books.

Step 3: Apply the filters and sort the column that says sales to see the highest sales show up at the top of the list:

You can play around with the filters to find different results but the above method is a great way to find the top selling products on Amazon.

Analyzing the data

There are a few different ways to analyze sales data by using Helium 10’s Chrome Extension. The first is to let the sales data populate on the detail page itself like it is in the following example:

You can also pull the Xray extension to see even more details than just sales such as which variation has more sales, sales data, pricing, review count and more!

If you want see a graph of sales over a specific amount of time, you can also click on the sales graphs for a more detailed look at sales over time.
